I had to go all the way to Mull to get my best shot of a Pied Wagtail!!.

I have loads around us here in Wiltshire, but none that pose so well.

Back to Mull scenes on Tuesday, you have been warned!!!.

Thanks as always for your time and help.

Phil

The large version is well worth the effort, Phil, perfect exposure on the blacks-and-whites and a nice graduated background. I like the golden light on the moss on top of the rock, and even though the bird is central, the composition is perfect, imho.

Phil, most people burn the whites on a pied wagtail. Here they are fine, so I would say it was worth the journey.

Superb little bird Phil. As we know these are not uncommon but they are very skittish and only stand for split seconds at a time. Not easy to get a good pose. This is lovely.

Top notch shot Phil, DOF is spot on, contrasting nicely with the plummage, which is sharp and well exposed. Worthy HC, well done.
