Male Kingfisher, about to return to the nest hole with a fish for his partner, who was sat on eggs.
The fish has been turned around in the male's beak, to ensure the female can swallow it head first.

A real corker Phil, like the bright colours and movement in this one. A pair of kingfishers are nesting again in the bank near the South Finger hide at Slimbridge, the next possible chance I get I shall be going over to check them out
