Very similar image to yesterday's, with the difference being the birds in this one have a slightly pose and I've also given it a square crop......Thanks for looking and many thanks for the comments on yesterdays upload.

Like the crop in V1, but the image in all honesty does not show the spectacular colours of bullfinches. As you know the males are a spectacular and very vivid red........

That said a lovely sharp image, which implies closeness between the male and female, as one may expect at this time of year.

Very nice

Beautiful tones and love the composition and detail, Actually like both versions , looked a long time and though at first I really liked V1 better the second has grown on me and I like the space around the birda and also get a better feeling that these are small birds in our very big world. just me off course

Hmmmmm.......Whilst I agree with you to a point, the colours in this shot considering it was taken in the shade are fairly spot on, to saturate the image anymore would be really over cooking it IMHO.

I like the soft, natural colours in this shot. I prefer the close crop in version 1.

Beautiful well detailed image. Love the colours and composition in both. I have never seen one long enough to capture it. So well done, excellent.

Great shot - the crop of V1 with its presentation is a winner. Colour OK - in the shade and no two birds are alike

The colours look spot on to me Ade, as the fem and male are together the difference is apparent. Really love to swear at you in envy at getting both together....lol
Like V1 with more space but V2 is spot on with the detail and as it is square works so well
Superb

Colours look damn fine to me Ade. I think the square crop works well and I also think you are a lucky B****R getting the male and female together like this.

Hope you and Sue are keeping well.

Regards
Terry.
