It's certainly an impressive scene, made all the better by that brooding sky. I'd like to go back... Dave

For man with bad knees just getting up here deserves an award, but you did a lot better than just getting up here Phil, lovely sky and a fine angle on the Old Man.
I have to do this soon, I'm planning a trip to this area for later in the year, post midgie weather.

All the very best and well done,
Dougie

Thanks Dave and Dougie. Dougie thanks very much for your award. Getting up there wasn't a problem but coming down is when I get problems. Going back to the consultant again soon so may get that new knee, might just as well wear this one awaySmile

I just wish I had the puff to get up there myself.....superb mono shot from a marvellous location. Very nicely composed and with a good range of tones.
Regards, Ronnie.

That's a great view Phil - good details and tones and light.
Hope the knees survived that walk to this location, going down is always the hard part.
Regards Richard
