A beautiful presentation of a beautiful flower. Would like to see a version with a plain border, as a comparison. IMO the bits of petal detract the eye somewhat from the main subject. Carol

I agree with Carol but my immediate reaction is that the black edge between image and frame is far too harsh and distracting. IMHO a much softer grey would have worked much better. However the soft, close - toned merits of this image far outweigh its deficiencies, so it gets my vote.
