From a quick visit on Saturday morning last week. Not as good bluebells as last year and pathways very muddy after all the rain of previous weeks . Many thanks for all the recent clicks and comments .All very much appreciated....Phil

p.s. Many thanks also to Ian Burton for advice on the local conditions of the bluebells ...Phil

I was just thinking exactly what you said up top, Phil: I seem to remember shots from here in past years when the carpet of bluebells was a lot more substantial.

Still a good image with some nice colour. We were spoilt by last years gorgeous display, but you never know it may pick up in the next couple of weeks, will keep you posted.

Excellent composition, Phil, love those diagonals, good sky detail and, of course, those bluebells.

I wouldnt manage that hill but you have done the picture great credit the composition is very good, we found it very muddy out looking for bluebells and also found there were not so many as previous years

An excellent pic Phil but if the flowers aren't there we cannot include them. I think the bluebells are pretty scare at the moment in the North East.
