Crammed in like perchines – tourists on a pleasure cruiser on lake Windermere, Cumbria.

During the Second World War, canned perch from Windermere (called ‘perchines’)
were eaten as a substitute for sardines!

Thanks for all the C&Cs on my last upload.

Best wishes,
Philip

Poor tourists, they really look even more crammed than sardines.

A good spot, Philip, a fine candid backed up with composition and colour from the life belts.

Liked the info which I didn't know anything about and a wonderfully colourful image to go along with it! Possibly just as well they are so closely packed as it looks a tad chilly!!

"Pleasure" Cruiser? Doesn't look much like pleasure to me, but it's a great image, especially with the colourful lifebelts.
