This image was achieved by holding a heavy, thick, ribbed, yellow glass bowl above a Dwarf Nandina bush in the garden, in full sunlight. The camera was held very close to the bowl, to achieve maximum effect. The red and cream colours are the Nandina leaves, refracted in the glass, the blue is the reflection of the blue sky, and the large star shape is the base of the bowl. The image was processed in Photoshop, where a considerable amount of saturation and contrast was added to make the image 'pop'.

I do like these abstracts you manage from this technique, Phil: another vibrant explosion of colour, the image suggesting a wheel with bluish/green spokes/
