And......now for something completely different.
To achieve this set of images, I held the macro lens of my camera above the top surface of a thick, clear, opaque, butterfly-motifed glass cake plate, and in bright sunlight, held it above various shrubs and flowering Azalea bushes in the garden. Any blue seen in these images are of the sky. After the images were captured, I processed them in Photoshop, where the saturation and contrast were adjusted, until I felt each image had achieved the 'wow' factor.
I realise these images are quite different, 'out there' and a little kitsch, but I think the effect is quite striking.
It is quite amazing the results that can be achieved by taking different glass objects outside into full sunlight, and holding them above colourful shrubs or flowering plants and bushes in the garden
