Although I've flown on many large aircraft around the world, I've never flown in a helicopter before. I received a call from Eddy Rossi, owner of Southern Highland Wines, giving me about 30 minutes' notice to take some shots of the vineyard from a helicopter. I have to admit to being pretty anxious, however, I plucked up the courage, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The thing that made me anxious was that the pilot took the door off, so there was nothing between me and the outside. I took a heap of photos, this is one of my favourites....captured with my new Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. The vineyard can be seen in the middle of the photo.
