I had a fabulous day out yesterday in the fine company of Martin.W and we spent it up in the Lake District, starting at Ambleside and ending across the way at Wastwater.
The weather was beautiful and mild - no coats needed most of the time, and even had pub lunch in the beer garden at Elterwater.
Even the drive over Hardknott Pass was fun (!?!?!) (don't think the rug would agree though.. but he was flat against the rear window when the car was practically vertical on the climb up!)

Excellent, love how smooth the lake is.
When I was in the Lakes on Monday it was windy and choppy, what a difference a day makes.
Like the low perspective.

.. he had plenty exercise, Carol - including swimming with hissing swans
Jules - just as well that there were many other togs there yesterday then to take the same wonderful light.. we knew that there would be some who thought it was PS'd
