The regular viewers of my shots will know that I have struggled to capture my daughter with a full smile so, at last, here it is. Again shot on the beach as the sun was setting, hence the warm light.
Perhaps too much weight on her right arm and background could be better, but I don't care, I got that smile![]()
As always your honest feedback will be welcome.
Phil

Very well worth waiting for Phil. Well done.
Definitely one for the album ![]()
Looks good Phil.
I wouldn't concern myself with the background or the pose.
She's a child and as such, she can get away with some slightly ungainly postures.
It's nice to see a smile after all this time though!
Bren.
The long-awaited smile is great to see, Phil, but you know me, I can't help having a fiddle.
I like her pose and also the large pot beneath her.
I love cut palm trees and the patterns within them, and it may be for this reason that it keeps drawing my eye, so I felt a crop coming on.
In my modification, I cropped both sides and did a bit of cloning of the background around your daughter.
There is a very light area on the underneath of her jeans left thigh, which I at first thought was part of the background, so I filled it with the dark jeans colour.
Pamela.
Super shot, i love how she own this picture and the light an the background work well to complement this.
