Pornography?

Pornography? by svengali_uk

Well captured, good catchlight in the eyes, nothing remotely pornographic, just loads of teen attitude.

Jeremy, I spoke to Chris over the weekend and I'm looking forward to meeting up with you on the 24th

winter elf...

winter elf... by elf_n

nice image showing the intensity of the child's concentration, but, in keeping with the title of the image, is the left hand side (which I would agree needs cropping) a bit too pixie-lated ?

Moored Up for the Night

Moored Up for the Night by chris.maddock

Chris, knowing when & where this was taken, I have to say I can't understand why it's got less clicks than "Light's Gone" as I far prefer this composition.

Still, at least it's 1 nearer than it was before

Light's Gone

Light's Gone by chris.maddock

Chris, Was this one from the Tuesday after I had gone back to work ?

The Sea W all

The Sea W all by lyne

potentially a great shot, but ruined by the twee, pretentious partial border that smacks of "oh look at how clever I can be with my Image Manipulation Software".

If you had posted the straight shot I would likely have clicked it but that border just totally ruins it for me

Hmm, looks familiar !!
It almost feels like I was there

Steaming Along

Now, this one, by complete contrast works really well and the border enhances the shot, the colour's are perfectly rendered and the lighting is spot on. The only niggle I have, and a very minor niggle it is too, is that there could perhaps be slightly more space between the front of the train and the border as my eye keeps trying to see where the train is going. But I don't feel that detrats from the shot unduly

Swan and baby

Swan and baby by helen&peter

Peter, I have no problem with the photo for what it is, a snapshot of what I'm sure was a nice day out at Abbotsbury taken with a fully automatic digital compact.

My issue with you lies with your arrogant, conceited and, in the light of this photograph, wholly inaccurate comment that you had taken lots of better photographs of swans there than Peter Karry's shortlisted entry for the BBC Countryfile competition

Does it come in Walkers Sensation mount too ?

Baboon

Baboon by Pete

Actually, it's not a Baboon, it's a Mandrill (at least that's what it said on the little plaque by the enclosure)

But whatever it is, the fact remains it's an excellent image even without consideration of the tricky environment in which it was taken

Well,I'll know what to look for in the Zoo car park then

definitely an improvement on the original
