Suppose its personal but good as it is i am not too happy at such close cropping. To me you need to give the subject more
space, `modern` or not but much prefer to see a full image not a `flattened` head....or is that just the way the pic is shown on this page ?

Yes a lovely portrait

oh dear, all comments have been good but i am not to happy with this image.
A `glam`shot would be happy with this but all we have seen of your great work
suggests you aim for quality work. Generally you do suceed but here there is to
much besides the figure that is too sharp !
Remember the principle of the great impression painters where the main `point`
of the picture is sharp but all the rest is less sharp. Your pic makes the eye wander
about looking to where to first focus ! Does this make sense to you ?
This is a time when a good sharp lens needs a bigger aperture with the eyes the point
of focus - the figure will be sharp too but it may be good to have the figure in a
a point of place as well as time but not sharp enough to compete with the main subject.

Oh dear, am i again the only one who would prefer the pic to
show a little more division with dark hair and background !

Good idea but throw off those dark shoes......they compete with a beautiful face.

Am i the only one to wish you had not sliced off the top of her head ?
As a retired photographer one of my `themes` was not to cut across
a beautiful head of hair

Sorry, not comfortable to see, unless you want the unease......

flash perhaps is ok but needs to be `diluted` or reduced because a bigger app would put the flower heads just a little off focus
and so less demanding attention.

Especially if it was for a hair stylist then the sharp cut in the background is a nono !
You need a more even background for less distraction from the hair, try a higher position,
the girl can look up as you perch on a small ladder ect so a more even background is shown !

A delightful image, face is just a little `off key` has not accepted the situation or
felt at ease, or is that me, reading too much into the pic ?
Its a nicely balanced light and relaxing photograph.

Interesting portrait though here it is spoilt to me by the `bleed` off......is this by reproduction or on the origional print ?

Here i must admit this is not easy, certainly it is more of `set-up` style even if it was spontaneous.
Not easy to view without it making you uneasy......but then thats my reaction and i suppose i`m an
old man now.............
