part of the lever frame at a railway signal box i was working yesterday.
the four levers out of the frame was for the passage of a train on the up main line.
there are no prizes for guessing which box it is.

Nice composition but highlights are blown in background.
Try selective focus on a mid tone colour (an area of the whole focusing area that is mid range colour)
Get your meter reading, recompose your shot WITHOUT changing the settings (apature and speed )
Check your histogram.

This is of course using the camera in manual mode.
