I don't know about bare, Ann, it looks rather deceased to me, would make lovely firewood for the winter months Smile Carol

Fine shot Ann. This really has the feel of a cold bare winter. Very topical. Nice to see you back.

Yes, looks more deceased to me too, with the lack of branches! Wink Does give an added feeling to this cold grey weather though Smile

Ann. should this bare example be in the adult class ? It was a shock to me, it looks like I feel most of the time, and I like the tree will one day soon make a good fire.

Not alot of detail here Ann and showing lots of black dots in the sky, not sure what they are, are they birds in the distance. It shows aberation and sadly a typical English sky.
Composition should have the tree off centre and what is it bottom left which draws my eye.
Doing better than my urban portrait so something must be right here
Sorry for being critical, but being honest and just as if you showed this at the camera club

It looks dead to me Ann and Eric is barking mad to suggest that this should have an adult tag applied to it!Wink

Hope you are feeling better.

There are some light lines on either side of the trunk. Interesting tree though.
