This looks an interesting event to attend, Ann, well captured. Carol
A fascinating image. I wonder if the original combatants would have been so clean, healthy and well fed?
Like your composition Ann, nice shot,
A great photo of an army that is definitely not combat ready
I like the inclusion of the drummer boy. He adds nicely to the composition
A capture full of action Ann, great image.
Wonderful shot here Ann,
take out the horse box and you would never know it
was a enactment... very good comp and clarity
Very 'Sharpe', Ann. Nicely balanced composition with the drummer boy trying to keep up.
fun capture Ann the wee drummer boy looks like he is struggling to keep up a pleasure to view

Interesting and well composed image Ann - love the little drummer boy!
Well composed Ann - great that you managed to include the drummer boy.
A fine image Ann.
Very inclusive scene-- having photographed some re enactors , this seems just about right-- I call them the history keepers!
Another super capture from this event Ann, excellent work
Just perfect, love it Ann.
If going to war they could do with a few more volunteers to swell the ranks, Ann.
Great shot from the re-enactment.
Nicely done Ann but have to ask which civil war, do you mean Napoleonic

I think we can rest assured that the answer is a great big NO. Following the Drum in those days was hard and basic profession and the welfare of the poor old Squaddie came well down the list.
A wonderful reinactment both sides of the lens Ann
Could be the American war of independence
Redcoats and all that
Lovely colour in the Redcoats Anne..
Nice take of this re enactment. Color perfect.
A good action shot as they head into battle.
Nice to see you back Ann and i see you have had a bad time, well i hope you are over the worst and your health is improving and you have a better year.
your picture is excellent they look wonderful in their colours and all in line, these are lovely events to see.
I wonder what Corporal Jones would have to saay about this image Ann???
Glad to hear that you're on the mend.
You have captured the re enactment brilliantly ...Phil
Wonderfully colourful bunch. Looks like they forgot to fix bayonets
A very colourful re-enactment image Ann, one of your best I think
