A super image of Solomons Seal!! Perfectly sharp where it needs to be, on the plant itself only, giving it separation from the background which is nicely out of focus.
I like it a lot!

Looks fine to me regarding sharpness, Ann, and it's a fine shot of this spray of Solomon's Seal, the b/g nicely OOF.
Sometimes when downsizing file size for this site, the sharpness of the original is lost, but when one tries to sharpen the smaller file size, the effect is exaggerated and artefacts are introduced........so I find resharpening of the smaller file size usually to be undesirable.
However you need have no fears regarding this one.......just fine as it is.
Ronnie.

Deliciously cool.
Ronnie's comment is spot on. I really don't share the current taste for what I see as excessive sharpening, I see it very often as counter-productive. This has a gentle, natural smoothness.

I echo the sentiments about sharpening....less is more in most cases. Over sharp images look so unnatural to me. This is beautiful.
Good luck today....hope you feel better soon.

Lovely shot Ann. I find myself reminded of the old nursey rhyme-- Mary Mary Quite Contrary-- 'with pretty maids all in a row'. GrinGrin Excellent.

A beautiful image one which has been clearly thought through and composed. The range of green hues are most refreshing.
