Great shots Ann. Good detail and colour. Love the expression !!!
Good action shot............Spotted a Heron on my shed roof the other day but the local crows chased it off...BUT it looks like it went with a belly full of MY Goldfish as we have not seen them since......AND I did not get a pic of it either.
Beautiful capture - their necks are so graceful.
Very well spotted and captured, Ann. Carol

Lovey shots Ann. I particularly like the movement of the water around the Heron.
like em Ann
Thats a long shot Ann if its the reeds I think at lavells. Just a little blurring on the head but probably down to the movement as it strikes so quickly.
2 lovely shots Ann, see your getting back into the swing of things
The crop for me Ann - well done...Bill
That's a big lens Ann, and you say mines heavy! but you got the action shot in both of these, probably saw himself, and thought..hmmm handsome bird there in the water, well done to you
Good shot, they are very quick and difficult to catch, (I know, one has been trying to raid our pond for two years and if I get a shot at him it won't be with a camera!)
It's a small rush and reflection in the water Ann. No fish to be seen

it was the reeds at the Teal hide, beginning of - the 300 was filled in automatically but it doesnt mention the tc which I used as well
No 2 for me. The colours and the size is much better IMHO
Snap - I was out yesterday getting pics of a heron - nice pair Ann
