Brilliant close up image....great that the wire did not affect the bird detail...mind you it's always a good tip to have wire cutters in the cam bag for just these moments !!

Ah the Laughing Kookaburra...he's got me in stitches with that silly look on his face bought about by the funny beak !!

A pretty bird this. Some nice feather detail and a great eye. the aperture choice has knocked out most of the netting in the background so well done Ann.

You've excelled with this one Ann - a bottler - this is a "Blue-winged" Kooka, found from the Queensland border over the "top end" to mid way down the coast of West Australia. Not the same laugh as the "Laughing Kooka". Bill
