The Australian Kookaburra taken at Beale Pk near Pangbourne Berks. through wire - many thanks for all c/c's on my grab shot always appreciated.
a cracker Ann, would like one in my P/F
I thought you had taken a trip to Australia, Ann! Wonderful shot and the mesh actually looks like a texture background! Great detail.
A beautiful sharp image,good colours
Very good shot, particularly through wire!
This is a cracker, excellent and shortlisted!
A terrific portrait of this handsome bird, the detail and colours in the plumage are first class
Excellent shot Ann.
I love these birds, Ann, and you have taken this beautifully, nice and sharp with a blurred background, just lovely.
What a wonderful capture of this delightful bird Ann
A very cool critter!! Well captured Ann... X x
Marvellous shot, Ann. You gave captured the detail in the plumage beautifully and with the bird in a most attractive 'pose'.
Cracking capture Ann, showing very nice good detail especialy round the eye, very well done.
Brilliant close up image....great that the wire did not affect the bird detail...mind you it's always a good tip to have wire cutters in the cam bag for just these moments !!
Ah the Laughing Kookaburra...he's got me in stitches with that silly look on his face bought about by the funny beak !!
A pretty bird this. Some nice feather detail and a great eye. the aperture choice has knocked out most of the netting in the background so well done Ann.
Beautiful detail, a lovely shot. Paul
good detail well shot.
He is a sly looking character! Well done image--- like his colors!
Great detail, his feathers are superb. A rather mean looking fellow, with his overbite................Sandy
You've excelled with this one Ann - a bottler - this is a "Blue-winged" Kooka, found from the Queensland border over the "top end" to mid way down the coast of West Australia. Not the same laugh as the "Laughing Kooka". Bill
A superb detailed image of this stunning bird, Ann, and the background is excellent. Carol
If you'll allow the pun, this looks like a Pluckfella, all the way from down under.
Superb shot Ann. Great effort.
Hi Ann love this one great gray.
Cracking detail Ann - love the expression - bg works quite well.
Beautifully detailed capture. I also like the pattern in the background (created by the wire?)
I was about to ask where you had been for your holidays Ann !! Excellent capture and you have done very well to minimise the effect of the wire.
A terrific shot Ann, thanks for your last comments.
Lovely detail, Ann, and beautifully focused on the eye!
A stunning capture, Ann, excellent detail and very nicely
Beautiful image. well captured. Sylvia
What an amazing looking bird.
Taken through wire? you wouldn't know it. Excellent.
Perhaps it's just as well. He looks ready to put some forrid on someone.
Another good shot. Amazing what you have done through wire
Love this one Ann, really well done taken as you described. I have one in my PF but had to go all the way to Spain for it
