another members post reminded me I had a similar shot, ere tis - many thanks for all c/c's on my previous upload always most grateful (I may have used a tc 1.7 with this shot, I cant remember but it was taken last week
A super shot Ann! Well done!
Two belters, Ann, pin sharp and a wonderful catchlight in the eye. Very well captured. Carol
A lovely capture Ann, I think I prefer the crop in V1.
A really great capture Ann. Good detail in this...............Sandy
Excellent capture indeed,very well taken,
An exceptional bird image, I would be quite pleased with these!
V1 for me Ann stunning.
First class shot Ann. This is beautifully focused and exposed. Great eye catchlight. I think I prefer the composition of V 1; bird is a bit too central in V 2.
Nicely captured with plenty detail in both versions, no real preference.
Two very good captures Ann, love his blue eye and the reflections too. Very nice!
V1 also for me Ann
A super detailed capture, Ann, the crop and positioning in the frame works best in V1, I think. Does rather look like it's sinking, though!
Captured him so well here Ann, fantastic eye detail too
Excellent shot with the balance in V 1 more pleasing to my eye, Ann. Nice one.
He looks a bit peeved to me ...perhaps he doesnt like little black cameras
Quote: Excellent shot with the balance in V 1 more pleasing to my eye, Ann. Nice one.
My thoughts exactly, Ann. From the EXIF data it does look as though you did use the the TC 1.7
Nice one Ann, like the crop on v1
Lovely capture V1 is my favorite.
Vers. 1 does it for me Ann - a splendid pic...Bill
Lovely pair of images Ann. Well focused & detailed. Lousie
V1 for me Ann, good use of the thirds and that is a cracking good eye. Shows how heavy these Cormorants are lying low in the water but masters underneath.
300mm x 1.7 = 700mm focal length, I still cant work it out
V1 for me Ann - lovely sharp eye. well done.
Two great shots Ann with great expression Ann. Lovely captures.
Truly superb, very well captured.
No,1 for me,stunning,
Great capture Ann, nice composition and detail.....................
Lovely image Ann. Don't think the thumbnail does it justice, but get past that and WOW.
fantastic , v1 for me
Lovely shot, Ann! I think I like the cropping in v1 best. Wonderful detail.
Quote: V1 for me Ann stunning
I quite agree
Hi Ann v1 for me gray
Well done catching this one and with a tc on as well. It's a lot harder than people may think. Good for you Ann.
A stunning capture here! A
Brilliant image...like the low pov. and the expression.
Can't work out the 700mm either.
Quote: 300mm x 1.7 = 700mm focal length, I still cant work it out
This would make sense if it were taken with a 500mm with a 1.4x TC......simples! .........the question is.........was it ??????????
V1 for me Ann
Two cracking shots Ann, v1 is exceptional. You definitely have an eye for detail
lovely shots Ann
