another members post reminded me I had a similar shot, ere tis - many thanks for all c/c's on my previous upload always most grateful (I may have used a tc 1.7 with this shot, I cant remember but it was taken last weekWink

First class shot Ann. This is beautifully focused and exposed. Great eye catchlight. I think I prefer the composition of V 1; bird is a bit too central in V 2.

A super detailed capture, Ann, the crop and positioning in the frame works best in V1, I think. Does rather look like it's sinking, though! Grin

V1 for me Ann, good use of the thirds and that is a cracking good eye. Shows how heavy these Cormorants are lying low in the water but masters underneath.
