almost as taken with a resize and unsharpen.

Quote: A really beautiful image, the poppy standing out so clearly and proudly amongst the field of white.
Lovely work, Ann.

Quote: Your exposure on the poppy is perfect and brings out all the detail which often gets lost in over saturation.

I just have to echo the above comments.....so hard to nail those bright reds.....great.

I like the way the poppy stands out in the centre Ann, you have struck gold today
I might have to d a border raid I can't find poppies up here at all. This is lovely amongst the white flowers. ( cow parsley)?

The red Poppy looks like the star of the show surrounded by the Yarrow/sneezewort, Achillea. As children we called them pignuts and used to dig them up and scrape the roots and eat them they were quite nutty. We were always hungry during the war and would try anything ![]()

. Love the Poppy , a wonderful find xx
So the red poppy invades the land of little white blooms and stands out vividly. Simplicity often adds to a composition. TG
