Gorgeous reflections. My first thought on opening V2, before I read your narrative, was 'Oversharpened'. I really think it is overplayed currently - a friend lent me a magazine that we don't get, with an article on sharpening, and I reckoned the 'improved' version of the picture was anything but!

V1. Ann is very good; I personally think it is a lovely photo, great reflections, nice colours as well, it has a natural softness to it, good light it's got all you need. I find you can sharpen to the extent the photo becomes hard and harsh there by loosing it's appeal, So V1. it is, regards Leon.![]()

good luck tomorrow.![]()
A super capture, Ann, and what a wonderful bridge, beautifully reflected in the water
Agree with all said above, and V1's just fine as it is ![]()

V1 Ann no sharpening required, just like a great big smile.
Regards
Trev.
Beautiful reflection, it looks a lovely peaceful place.
Did you download the DNG Converter from the Adobe site. It's free by the way.
My friend uses a new Canon and that's what I recommended he uses for his RAW files, he has no problems now.

I agree about V2, over saturated too, but V1 is a winner.
Beautifully composed, Ann. I like them both. The over-sharpening gives a very effective and stylized look to v2.

This vivid green is a wonderful sight in this white and barren world just now.

An idyllic scene Ann, the reflections are splendid and you've conveyed the sense of tranquility so well. V1 is better as the colours look more natural, they look a tad over saturated in v2
A superb reflection Ann and made special with the inclusion of the ladies. Only point I would make is to tone down the greens as they overpower the image or slightly desaturated it as the saturation is too strong and steals the detail that is there

I've noticed that there is a lot of people on this site putting up old pictures from the summer. I think I am right in saying everyone is sick of the winter weather?![]()

Anyway this is a superb picture, I'm not keen on V2, but V1 has done the wonderful relection justice![]()
