many thanks for all c/c's on yesterdays upload I am most grateful - V2 a green woodpecker, would have liked a better shot but he was distant and had I been able to get closer he would have flown

V4 - excellent work, and just enough of it, to give a sense of depth and texture.

The first two shots seem a little lacking in contrast Ann but you seem to have put matters right in 3 and 4. Those two are much better.
Hard a good time this morning but the light was very dull. Stags were very vocal however.

Agree with Ron on this Ann, they lack the punch required to pop out at you and the Woody is a good record shot but suffering badly from cropping and noise reduction. Also with the Reds try when possible to get a better and more natural background.

Geoff,

I agree with Geoff, but it isn't so easy when the light is dull.

Two fine captures, Ann. Of the bird, I prefer V4, and V1 of the deer -V3 looks rather blue on my screen. Love how you've got them posed!

Good eye contact from this lovely pair.

I would have kept the darker Greenie as a seperate upload.......because I am greedy. He he....would crop some off the left side 1st though.
Wish I could get a Greeenie to land anywhere near me.
