Just a tad warmer overall than Blue Heaven, two images back, but only just as the sun rises that wee bit higher.
But the cold still seeps out of the screen......so off to make a cuppa

Beautiful cold landscape looks so good to me, in Australia very hot with lots of bush fires. Wonderful images love it Dougie.

Beautiful capture of this special place Dougie,you just have to be careful walking over the moor to get this type of shot, not the first time I have ended up waist deep in snow. Beautifully done my friend, hope you are well. Bill

I thought the previous version was very good but I think this is an improvement as there is more definition in the mountains and general detail.
I was there yesterday and the remaining snow looks pretty patchy compared to this image.

The rework is where its at Dougie...sat on your bumper or not I would have swapped places to this view....took my wife up this last time last year because she wanted to see the snow - all we got was fog n mist for 4 days apart from one day when we passed through the Glen on a bus - the drive kindly stopped for me to take a shot from aside the road
