I'm not sure about this one, I really like it sometimes and then other times I don't, so I will put it up here and get some other opinions. It was taken on the beach at Findhorn Bay, I shot it portrait to show big sky while still keeping the kite board large enough to be part of the picture. Please let me know what you think.

I really like this shot, It's very ominous! I like the contrasting colours of the sky and sand and how you've captured some interest in the foreground. It's a shame the kite board wasn't a smidge bit bigger in the shot though. Overall an impactful shot. Gets a click from me!

not sure whether I'm supposed to be looking at the kite board, or whether it's just an added extra...nice shot all the same

I think this works, I like it, click

I agree. THe darkness of it makes it pretty atmospheric and does portray the wind. I think this works.

Perfect composition and color. I find the kite destructive, looks like a unwanted spot on the picture.

I was attracted by the colour and simple lines. As has been said I find the kite board distracting, it would work well as a landscape and an excellent one at that!

I have to agree with that last comment, I think its a fabulous shot, would in my humble opinion be better without the kite board, because the interest for me is in the sand dunes foreground and the groyne/wooden poles.

The portrait format really works well and perhaps less sky would focus more on the foreground points of interest.

Enjoyed.

It is a lovely sea and skyscape . Very well done ...but it has made me greedy for more . I'd love to see a Landscape of these windswept sand dunes too . But that would be a very different image . Love your portfolio .. very impressive .
