I have been taking photos most of my adult life but the bug did not take hold until the beginning of 2002 when I purchased my first digital camera ready for my pending trip to Iceland. It was then that I discovered that taking lots and lots of photos only cost me time, not money, in having them developed.

Since that time if I am not in school working as a Primary Teacher, or at home being a mum to my two adorable children, I can be found out and about with my camera in hand looking for new things, or old things in a new way, to photograph.
