Hi All, hope your Wednesday has been better than mine! Managed to go apex over undercarriage on a tarmac surface last night and have therefore spent all afternoon in A&E having x-rays and tetanus jabs! Nothing broken, but really badly bruised, so I have a strapped up hand which I'm supposed to be resting! ![]()
Enough of my woes, now for the image. Sorry, couldn't resist taking you back to Happisburgh! The woes of those who live here and are losing their coastline at a huge rate of knots is encapsulated here for me. The metal here is all twisted and vandalised by nothing more than Mother Nature using her power of the waves! Doesn't take much to realise that it's a tad futile to stand in her way! ![]()
Have a good evening - - off to rest my hand, so excuse any lack of comments - - I will of course look forward to reading yours! ![]()
(Wonder what the chances are of getting MrS to peel me a few grapes?) ![]()
Thanks for looking - - I do promise to catch up soon ![]()

A super image , agree Mother nature can be very violent! However this doesn't detract from such a well exposed and composed image , particularly like the water on the rocks and the timing to capture that wave splashing . great sky
Mary
Glad to hear that the damage was "only " bruising. keep well.
Very nice Fran but I think, to use a great Glasgow expression, ...

They say every picture tells a story, and this one really does so very well indeed.
A beautiful depiction of Mother Nature getting her own back.
The framing, exposure, composition are all quite superb, Fran.
This ranks along with your very best, imo!
Cheers
Bill

Such a beautiful image, the exposure time is perfect and you've caught the movement of the water really well. It shows the sheer power of mother nature, a very dramatic image!
A super capture with colour and light well done.
Keith.
