nice shot, the dots look just fine....yet, the seagull is a little overexposed and the crop seems a little tight on the bottom...

Hello, Paul. The magic dots make a nice feature for the image which would otherwise just be a gull against the water. I agree that the gull is overexposed on its breast and head, but you have good detail on it. I think that in order to include several of the magic dots, you have somewhat compromised the composition. In my modification, I cropped three sides so that the gull sits in the bottom left of the frame and has space in front of it to look into. To work on the gull's bright whites, I selected it and darkened it. I also removed the yellow patch that was just beneath the gull because it blends in too well with the gull's legs and underbelly colours, so removing it isolates the gull better.

For me, dots not a good idea, and water a bit scummy. Gull a little over exposed too. Sorry.
