This is Frank, heart the size of a space hopper. frank looks after Walter who I posted a shot of yesterday. This shot was taken at Walters house while he had a tea break and a roll up liquorice papers of course.

Is this one of those low-key portrait jobbies Pooch or is it just lacking in a bit of contrast? That said it is full of character in a low-key un-contrasty sort of a way.

Just the way I have edited it Dave didnt feel it had the same moody feel with the contrast wacked up lthough I did try it followed by a long stare but soon as switched back to this version I had that positive feeling you get "you know the one"..? and Frank is such an old softy pudding lovely bloke it seemed to suit.

This is a superb portrait, Pooch! I was just remarking to myself on the softness of the shadows before I read Mr U's comment. I think you're dead right in your chosen treatment.

love the image great details on the face, just such a shame that the hands are brighter then the face, i would love to make the face the main eliment but the light does not allow it?
Otherwise it would be a first class image.
