This building was announced as the flagship store when Hartlepool Marina was really taking off.
This interesting, nautical shaped building was going to be the focal point of the whole Marina complex housing some of the biggest names in fashion.
Big 'celebrities' came to the store opening and the eventual relaunch as "The Designer Room" but just 12 years on from the opening the place lays abandoned and in a state or dereliction.
I remember being a child when this building was opened and wandering around the stores with my family in what was a pretty good shopping complex. Its rather sad to see the way it is now with the faded pictures and letters dropping off the front of the building.
