Definitely V1, the texture adds interest and subtlety.

The texture layer here certainly does give the vintage look you are after and part of that look is due to the way it has dulled the colours, however the colours in the original are so bright and vibrant this seems to me to be a bit of a trade off. I wonder if by thinning out the texture layer here and there to bring a bit more of the colour through you might get the best of both worlds... as if the vintage artwork had undergone a little restoration. ![]()
If your two versions were the same size I would try a mod but as they vary it wouldn't work.
