Apologies for my prolonged absence, haven't had much time with the camera lately ![]()
Took a trip into the New Forest yesterday morning and was lucky to catch some glorious light. This amazing tree, surrounded by bracken, was backlit by the sun and just beautiful to behold, with the bark full of the colours of autumn.
Shot on F2.8 (in hindsight, should maybe have used F6.3 or higher to achieve more detail, but F2.8 diffused much of the b/ground for me and still retained the light).
Added a very slight touch of LucisArt Whyeth, and adjusted levels/curves/brightness, etc.
Am rambling now... best be off ![]()
Thanks for looking, all C & C welcome, as this is a change for me!
