Not sure how this will be received, but little by little I'm trying new things.
This is part of the amazing glasshouse at RHS Wisley, a wonderful structure full of beautiful plants.
I took this handheld and had to straighten it, so I've lost a bit of sky top left and it may be a bit tight in the frame. I also had the macro lens on at the time, which may not have been ideal...
Deliberately darkened and grained with the manipulation.
Your thoughts are very welcome, good or bad...

I think it's great to try new things, like me with the horses, & I admire anyone else that goes out of their comfort zone.
I like the lines & curves to these two images.
Does it really matter if you lost a bit of the sky...the rest of it looks fantastic, a lovely colour.
Well done.

Love the effect. Can't decide which crop I prefer - each has its merits.

Very good I think to try new things. You found a great subject for shapes and lines. I like the treatment you gave it as well. Often times when I am trying something new I will load it as a mod. so that others can play around with it, and I can benefit from their ideas. ![]()
