Tried my new lighting setup today, which consists of bouncing light from a halogen lamp onto my sloping ceiling and then transferring some of that light to the subject using a reflector. Not ideal, and I probably need to light the background better and more evenly, but anyway this is the result of my first attempt. I placed the Kaffir in a miniature Mateus Rosé bottle.
Would be good to have your thoughts... Shot on F2.8, AV priority.

Awww Allie you did it.. the home studio set up is delivering.... this is so good.. delicate and love the softness the 'glimpse' of the bottle is 'just enough' and I agree with Tom (toffee) this HAS to be viewed large to appreciate the finer detail..... boy I can't wait to get to 2.8.... superb work I hope you are now fully inspired by the 'reaction' to this and look forward to heaps more.
