Expertly done Barry, but I think the balance would be better if the background flower was higher to give more of a diagonal composition.

Many thanks Dave, and you are correct...however what you see is what there was in a garden.The flowers are as they were growing, and not a lot of room to manoeuvre around them. It is only the background that has been enhanced slightly. ![]()

Love the concept. The main subject is I believe strong enough to carry the composition. I like the background but IMHO the second bud and the stem are a little distracting.
