Reflections of the trees in the shaded area of a lake perhaps? Another beautiful example of creativity Alan.

Strictly speaking it's not an abstract but an isolated section of something recognisable. Interesting relationship between verticals and horizontals with that stunning colour of yours. Monet would approve.

Ah yes, your période verte... Not my favourite colour, but no matter, thanks for finding a green that isn't acidic and sunny-grassy.
Re Linda's comment - what I like here is the tension between reality and abstract. This is very both. Recognisable reflections and water ripples, the abstract of vertical softness and horizontal precision. One serious quibble - I want to rotate this a wee bit clockwise, reflections should drop down vertically, ripples are horizontal because water is, and the slight angle here weakens both aspects, reality and abstract, for me.

Impressionist indeed... The reflection of the trees gives a sense of solitude and the sparkling sunlight add a touch of silvered warmth. Smashing capture Alan.

Delicious semi-abstract. I am not one to argue, especially with the ladies.

Hermosa (gorgeous, lovely) fotografia.
Somehow I cannot express how really lovely this picture is in a language other than Spanish.
Brilliantly executed and processed.
