The East Tower with its 262.5 meters, including the antenna. These were the tallest towers (all concrete) in Latin America until 2003. For more information about Parque Central Complex please click here.

A first I was amused-- love the title and the simple composition--It gathers meaning as one scrolls down and sees it above the beautiful clouds!

Actually dear Jenn, I saw the clouds first but I needed something with those clouds.
To me the towers are something so familiar they are sometimes invisible to my eyes.
I shot the tower to get the cloud. Wink
It is a very impressive construction, though.
Thank you for the comment Jenn.
Un beso,
Marian

An interesting and very well observed and captured image, which in turn makes for a great talking point...

Brought the NY Twin Towers to mind, Marian. Love the tonal colouring in this. The rigid straight line of the building and its many windows and the irregularity of the clouds.

The clouds help to give the impression of height. Very simple and very effective composition. Smile

Excellent shot, Marian, and just the right amount of detail in the tower.
Beautifully composed.
