Thank you so much Sandy for conceding your UA to "Batman"! I am very grateful for all the comments it brought to the thread.
I am trying to get my work done so I can go on a short trip to Maracaibo.
Hugs to all,
Marian

I think he didn't know her. He turned to look at her as she was approaching the stairs, I was lucky to capture the moment.
Thank you for commenting Peter!
Un beso.

A great image, Marian. If only had she been wearing high heels..then it would have been even greater. Well, you can't have everything you want, can you?

I really love your daring composition, Marian. The disembodied feet are mysterious, not immediately identified as belonging to a woman; the wide central gap, effectively negative space, invokes both tension and anticipation in the viewer.
The composition and the monochrome will not appeal to some ephotozine members; that is their loss. An original, in fact brilliant, photograph.
Regards
Bill

The frozen moment, pregnant with unanswered questions and possible outcomes. This is what photography is about, it's what stills photography alone can capture.

Absolutely brilliantly spotted and snapped.

And the title: you've invented a new word - it may not have been intentional, but it, also is brilliant. I shall find a chance to use it!
