At the base of the West Tower, at Parque Central, Caracas. These used to be (I don't know if they still are) the tallest concrete towers in Latin America.
If you would like to know more about the architectural details and have an idea of the enourmous dimensions of this tower, please look at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parque_Central_Complex

Almost forgot to mention that the beautiful trees are called Atapaima, it is an indigenous name.

This is a great visual juxtaposition, Marian. Wonderful. I think V2 does not show enough building.

V2 is to show the flowers! Smile There will be more, now I am hunting Atapaimas everywhere I go in the city. I have always loved those trees and didn't know the name until a couple of days ago.
Thanks for your comments on the pictures, Peter!

Lovely images Marian !! I love the contrast and those flowers are lovely - especially the way the sunlight lights up the leaves. The Atapaima looks very much like the Frangipane trees and flowers Smile
