I was totally lucky Walter. I was shooting at those massive concrete columns because of the morning light, it was only my second shot, so I wasn't perfectly key on the aperture yet.
I did my best so I could use this shot. Thanks for commenting!

I love the composition...and, like you said, Marian, those birds are an amazing bonus. This high contrast rendering of this photo really works. Kind of reminds me of images from back when of "pushed" Tri X.

A brilliant and clever juxtaposition, Marian, perfectly composed and well executed ( some haloing around the outlines of the birds though........could be because of a little too much sharpening, although high contrast can also sometimes cause it )....... superb superb superb.
