I prefer the more minimal image of V2. And, both are wonderful images, Marian.

Thanks Peter, so do I but...It got a bit cut on the very very top. I still don't know the frame well.

Two lovely sharp images Marian.
V2 seems to the winner with just the one gorgeous flower head.
It is easy to extend your canvas if you have Elements or Photoshop
and fashion a little tip for the top of the flower. I think I remmeber you saying you
saying you didn't do editing yet? Ask if you want to know.
Good luck with the new camera.

Hmmm...difficult, but I think v2 just edges it, Marian. The darker feel to it appeals more to me.

Great images, also prefer V2....nice fun having a new camera, I find it confusing using 2 different camera's as you tend to get to know where everything is on the camera

I wish I could start using the Nikon Coolpix, but the risk of being robbed is pretty high, even with the little Canon. I am using it when I feel safe.

Thanks Kate! I will buy PS sometime later in the year, once I get through some financial commitments I currently have. I do not buy pirate copies, something my compatriots cannot begin to even grasp, much less understand or do themselves.
