My heartfelt gratitude to Moira and Malc for conceding their User Awards to "Waves". Taking pictures of the kids with their backs to me is a good way of not looking suspicious to the parents and saves me from a ruined posed picture. The kids pose as soon as they see a camera.

I shot these pictures during the days of Carnival.
There were battles between the students and the national guard 3 miles from the place where people were parading their kids in costume.
