I went to a concert of Spanish music from the XV and XVI centuries last Friday at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. After a magnificent performance I was sipping a nice cup of coffee when I saw this female dog running around the building of the Engineering School. I realized that she entered the building so I followed her. She wasn't anywhere in sight, then I saw her inside the Library/Study Hall.

She is very smart, the place has great air conditioning! Wink
Not everybody understand her need for getting in and getting out every 2 minutes, so she stands there until a good soul opens the door for her. It is a delight to watch.

Please look at the whole sequence! Grin

Very interesting Marian, better to be a cool dog than end up a hot dog. Si.

I don’t know about silly Sunday but Si’s remark made me laugh.
I wondered what the dogs were going in and out for, thought it was
a vets or animal hospital at first. Cool thinking thats for sure…….GrinGrinGrin

What an extraordinary set, Marian! A library serving different species for different purposes! So amazing! Dogs seem to be waiting for the conference.

Yes, the campus has its own dogs, they are not street dogs technically but "university dogs."
I didn't see any inside the classrooms, though. I assume there are boundaries to them.
I noticed this dog first because some student passed by her as she was standing looking around and petted her. So I thought "she knows him, how wonderful." That's why I followed her when she entered the building, I thought she was following the student that was kind to her. All students are kind to her!

Yes, I think she enjoys the attention. The game of following people coming in and out of the Study Hall, being part of the crowd, being like them. She is a sweet dog.

I didn't see them doing it, but I have heard that they not only feed the campus dogs but take them to the vet when they need to go.
