I want to express my gratitude to Ron and Kate for the User Awards they conceded to the picture.
I will continue with my exploration of color and how it can be used to enhance or produce a feeling. Hope this one conveys the message.
This is pretty much the only way to get a picture of the police or national guard without getting in trouble. I had a close encounter yesterday with the bolivarian national guard (the chavista one) for a picture that was not even good. Fortunately I kept the cool and didn't run, when they stopped the car I turned around and quickly put the camera in my bag and got into the crowd (remember it is supposed to be Carnival) and jumped inside an ice cream shop. My heart was racing fast, I am not as bold as I thought. Had I run they would've found me...
