I ventured out of the resort one evening.
These were taken at the start of some quite famous 5 km of beach in Margarita Island. It is known as Playa El Agua (Water Beach).
V1: Looking East.
V2: Looking North.

A bit deformed because of the constant easterly winds. We are not directly on the path of hurricanes but sometimes they get close to Margarita.

V1 has a wonderful sense of drama, of stories not being told, but there........and both a departure from your recent series, Marian.

Sounds like a plan.

Very good of course (what else should we expect?) but I would have liked to see some colour for comparison.
Excellent work.

New camera shots soon?

A tropical paradise, Marian, and an excellent composition in v1. The mono looks good with white whites and deep blacks.

Breaking waves look great in mono and of course your palms on the coastal margin. The little island looks like a beast in V2, and I like the framing of this.

It's great to see where all those palm trees are - V1 is a stunning bech scene and works very well in mono with those breakers
rolling in to create pure whites. So a lovely tonal range.
The colour image is beautiful too with those vibrant blues.

P.S. Sorry I'm confusing you with my Irishkate Avatar and living in Scotland but yes both countries are beautiful.

Nezih, after so many days seen the flat sea, my eyes were attracted by that rock that certainly looked like something alive.

Thanks Kate, now it is clear to me that I want to go to both...Let's see if I can make it in 2014.

Thanks Peter, the colors are the ones on V2, the pictures were taken seconds apart.

I am studying the Canon. I don't think I will use the Nikon at the moment.
