I am learning slowly about the color filters and the other filters available in Picasa.

You know me Marian - I almost always prefer colour - but somehow this time the mono wins out, especially in light of your super title Smile

Marian, I think the monochrome has more drama, more sense of mystery. My preference.

Vive la democracie (in French sounds more elegant...) everyone has a say about color or mono! Smile Love to hear your preferences.

Colour for me - the angle and content lift it way beyond any ordinary beach shot.
But - I like the mono too.
Great stuff again, Marian.

I think the title and the idea go well together and for me the colour version just wins out. However, personally, I would have liked to have seen just one set of tracks or at least all the tracks heading in one direction, preferably from left to right. It could be that I've got this wrong though.......transiency does imply lots of movement so maybe this does work as it is. I've gone and confused myself now. GrinGrinGrin

I like the diagonals, Marian. Almost abstract quality which is enhanced by the mono, v1 for me.

I prefer the B&W, but like the colour version almost as much. It's good with your title, but also works well as a purely graphic piece. Excellent work, Marian.

There's a pleasant darkish quality about your shots, Marian, and I like it a lot. It's also inherent here in both versions which I like a lot. Super compo as well.

Two quite different versions, Marian - the lower half of the b/w(without the sea) looks like footprints in melting snow.

Black and white brings out the abstract qualities very strongly in this one. I feel the colour ties it down too much.
