I spent the day running errands so we could go to the Hollywood Bowl for an out door concert by Christen Chenoweth tomorrow. I was already behind schedule. My wife's watch stopped running, then mine did. I was on my way to the watch shop for batteries, but there was a three car pile up blocking the street. I parked and walked the rest of the way. In a concrete flower bed attached to the watch shops front window were a group of roses, all of them red except for a small peach colored one. Most of my flower pictures have heavy saturated colors. No one has ever them called delicate or subtle. This time, I wanted to show the peach color and the variations of it on the petals in the same delicate pastel colors that I saw. I shot at least twenty pictures trying different abstract compositions.
Tonight as my wife watched Seinfeld re-runs which I hate, I downloaded the pictures and did my best to get the image in my mind on the monitor. This is the best of the bunch.
