Wow if I was new to digital photography and didn't have any imaging software and yet still produced a shot like this I'd be dead chuffed! I much prefer these sorts of documentary shots to posed portraits and love the contrast between the two hairy biker dudes engrossed in conversation and the envious/curious onlookers in the background. I've just bought "The Great LIFE Photographers" book and this wouldn't look out of place in there! By: widtink |
I prefer V2 though possibly with a bit more contrast. Its a shame about the window in the background, without that I think this would have been a cracking image. By: kenphotographer |
Lovely image, with excellent exposure and lots of detail. Bet it would make a great mono print! By: jonathanbp |
Wow, nothing more to say really! By: andy_AHG |
Superb image and fantastic conversion. By: andy_AHG |
Great shot and excellent mono teratment giving an unusal for a well photographed image. Have you tried rotating it slightly clockwise, as to me it appears to be tilted down to the LHS? By: Nick_w |
Version 2 is fan-bloody-tastic! By: ianrobinson |

Funny this doesn't work me as I either expect this to be a golden beer or if B&W then Guinness! By: gjfereday |
V1 for me as well and with the sharpening halo removed it will be a stunner! By: ianrobinson |
You should have posted this on the 31st of October, put me right off my tea! Excellent, if terrifying, image. By: Goggz |
This is a real stunner Pete and even better as a print! By: Goggz |
From the title I thought this should have been posted in the Glamour section By: tedtoop |

Like it, I've done something similar but the detail in yours is much better. By: NikLG |

I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve here as this appears to just be an arbitrary still life arrangement of what I'm afraid me to are unrelated objects. Its difficult to be sure but the watches appear a little soft on my monitor. By: EOSman |
Those clouds are fabulous. To be honest on my monitor the foreground colours appear to be over saturated. By: VintageRed |
Super shot of a dramatic sea. Personally I'd be tempted to try it in letterbox format to avoid some of the less interesting foreground detail and sky. By: nyami |
Nobody does "eccentric" as well as we Brits! By: eonisuk |
What a super shot, well composed and with a lovely subtle range of colours. By: kathersmith |
Excellent and powerful shot, glad he's not a proctologist though By: Uppercut |
What a character, nicely matching the elegant look of the bike (actually he reminds me a bit of Ned Flanders from the Simpsons). Just a shame about the Transit in the background. By: eonisuk |
