Satin indeed! You have captured some beautiful texture here and the square format really suits the image. Just love the detail and that very royal luxuriant colour.

wonderful strong colours and tones. great feeling of depth - i really like the way the stamen reaches out of the frame and then the layers progressively drop back toward that beautiful swirling background of petals.

brilliant, love the colour, a very deep purple satin effect, its presentation and and frame is perfect and enhances the delicateness of the flower, its the kind of shot I'd expect to see hanging in a low lit honeymoon suite ![]()
